TRANSACTION LIMITS AT GDS BRANCH POST OFFICES
As per SB Order No. 2/2021, GDS BOs are authorised to allow withdrawals upto Rs.20000/- from Savings accounts without obtaining sanction/approval of SO/Account office.
As per SB Order No. 3/2021, No BPM shall accept cash deposit transaction for more than Rs.50,000i- in an account in a day. Further till the PPF/SCSS/MIS/KVP/NSC schemes are made available in RICT CBS App, deposit in these accounts is to be accepted by withdrawal form or cheque only.
